1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PTBO Deals ("the Service"), operated at ptbodeals.ca, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

PTBO Deals is a community-driven platform that aggregates and displays daily restaurant deals and specials in the Peterborough, Ontario area. Deal information is collected from publicly available sources and user submissions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or validity of any listed deal.

3. User Accounts

Certain features require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. User-Submitted Content

Users may submit restaurant information, deal suggestions, edits, and removal requests. By submitting content, you represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge. All submissions are subject to admin review before being published. We reserve the right to reject, modify, or remove any user-submitted content at our discretion.

5. Voting

Registered users may vote on restaurant deals. Votes are intended to reflect genuine user opinions. Any attempt to manipulate voting through automated means, multiple accounts, or other deceptive practices is prohibited and may result in account suspension.

6. Advertising & Sponsored Content

PTBO Deals offers self-serve advertising through Priority Boost and Custom Promo placements. Sponsored content is clearly labelled as such. By purchasing advertising, you agree to the following:

• Ad campaigns are subject to admin approval before going live.
• Impressions and budget spend are tracked in real time. Campaigns end when target impressions are reached, the budget is exhausted, or the end date is reached — whichever comes first.
• Custom Promo content must not contain misleading, offensive, or illegal material. We reserve the right to reject or remove any ad at our discretion.
• Refunds for unspent budget are issued to your ad wallet upon campaign cancellation. Ad wallet balances are non-refundable to your original payment method except where required by law.
• We do not guarantee specific business outcomes (e.g. clicks, conversions, sales) from advertising.

7. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. All amounts are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Payments are final once processed unless otherwise stated in these terms.

8. Deal Accuracy Disclaimer

Deal information displayed on PTBO Deals is provided for informational purposes only. Deals are sourced from restaurant websites, social media, and user submissions, and may be outdated or inaccurate. Always confirm deals directly with the restaurant before visiting. PTBO Deals is not responsible for any discrepancies between listed deals and actual restaurant offerings.

9. Intellectual Property

The PTBO Deals name, logo, design, and original content are the property of PTBO Deals. Restaurant names, logos, and deal descriptions remain the property of their respective owners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

PTBO Deals is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PTBO Deals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
